Good clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff, excellent value. Minor annoyances were: coffee supplies didn't include cream, shower didn't work well, would have liked extra pillows.

Stoped here after our long drive from Toronto. It’s just the place you need, clean and comfortable!! Also very nice people and amazing service!!!

If you find this motel on your trip you are very lucky. The room is extremely clean. Every corner is spotless, the kitchen the toilet the beds and furniture everything is nice and clean. My wife and I with a lovely Shiba inu We spent a night here. Definitely recommend this motel for anyone looking for a place to stay in Wawa

Love this place and fully recommend to anyone travelling through or working in the area. Room was very clean and loved the furniture that came with it. Full kitchenette and lots of room. Rooms have been renovated. The friendliest owners. Nice conversation, great coffee and freshly made cookies in the morning. Was great for my family of 4 and my pets. We will stay again if we are passing through.

Love this place! Super clean, comfy and the staff are very nice. We arrived late and they were sure to make accommodation for us upon arrival. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who comes through town. Added bonus there’s fresh cookies and coffee in the morning.

Clean, quiet, lovely furnishings, super friendly owners, everything you desire in a romantic get-away or stay for the night as you pass through. 100% recommend it. Gorgeous scenery. I have been to dozens of motels across Canada, but this motel is by far the best!! Not 5 stars but 10 stars!! Ray and Lynn, together with their staff, are great people. Ray and Lynn make you feel almost like your family from the first moment. The rooms are beautiful, everywhere is clean, everything is working, WiFi is amazing, they even invite you for a coffee and cookies in the morning! This motel is better than many 4 star hotels!! I have been here twice and will come again. Thanks Ray and Lynn you are the best!!!!

We were traveling cross-country to relocate and needed a stop in Wawa along our route. Becuase we were traveling with pets, our choices were limited and some of the places -- even national chains -- were run down and it was evident that NOBODY who worked at them cared about their guests or their business. Our expectation were quite low when we arrived at the Outdoorsman Motel in Wawa, but were surprised and delighted. It is charming and the owners have clearly gone out of their way to create a clean, inviting experience for their guests. Lots of little touches that show they care deeply about the role a good motel plays for a weary traveller. We loved that they had all of the take-out menus from local restaurants in the room and offered us some extra towels and cloths becuase they knew we were traveling with pets. Highly recommended.

Clean, newly renovated, well lit parking lot, welcoming, quiet. Will stay again on the return trip and would highly recommend.

Amazingly clean comfortable rooms and very affordable. Great coffee and baked goods in the morning starting nice and early. Definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling through. This will definitely be our choice going forward for place to stay when traveling.

Tbh don’t have enough words or new for this place ! On our way home we stopped for a night and it was the best decision ! Never came across such cute / beautiful / clean motel before and the couple is super nice !!!!! Echo each comment of how wonderful this motel is ! Kudos to the team !!!! Ps- loved the room decor …. This quiet, clean, pet friendly motel in Wawa is one of the best spots we've stayed while traveling the TransCanada. There's a park with a playground directly across the street as well as a grocery store + several restaurants in walking distance. Owners are very kind and accommodating, they obviously love what they do. A note for my fellow vegan/lactose intolerant travellers: they had both Silk Oat and almond milk out for coffee service in the morning. What a thoughtful touch! We will be back again and again. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. Lyne and Ray are great Hosts. Newly renovated by far the nicest place in Wawa. Clean well maintained and organized. I would definitely stay here again. This place deserves more then a 5 Star rating. Keep up the great job.

What a beautiful place to stay in Northern Ontario. Super friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are so clean, neat, cozy and comfortable. There's even fresh baked cookies and coffee at the main office every morning. Highly recommended and A1 place to stay if you're in Wawa. We are driving from Ottawa to Vancouver with lots of overnight stays in chain hotels. This stay was by far the best. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Highly recommend. Only minor criticism was that as we had to leave very early, coffee was not available. Pot in the room would have been icing on the cake.

Love this place ❤️. Its warm and cozy. The new owners welcome you like family. The outdoorsy and country theme is inviting. Brand new everything from the rugs to the unique lamps. Took a day long motorbike ride with friends and and were happy to rest at this little gem. They even provided free shammys to wipe our bikes down. The new owners are delightful and helpful if you need anything. The rooms have a full size fridge and freezer to store anything you may pick up across the street at the local grocery store. There is also a beer store and restaurants less than a block away. Outside there are new barbecues and also lawn chairs for you to enjoy the fresh air. Last but not least , fresh delicious coffee and just baked cookies offered in the morning. We will most definitely be staying again.

I came in late and the owner waited up for me and even helped park my big moving van for me. It was so nice and the decor allows you to feel at the cabin. Loved the seated shower stall. Very clean. No complaints at all.

y The room was clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. The bathroom had apparently been recently re-done, as it was very clean and BRIGHT. I went to the office to get ice. Ray, the owner, asked if I was making a cocktail to un-wind, which I was. Ray handed me two glass, cocktail glasses, as he did not want us drinking out of plastic glasses. A touch of class, on Rays part. The owners were absolutely great in making sure their guests were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again..... Go Packers.......

Stayed at the outdoorsman, last minute, after a long drive across northern Ontario. The place has been totally renovated with super cute, cabin decor, and was immaculately clean. I travel a lot for work and the bathroom, was probably one of the best I've seen. It had a huge, new bathtub, which is near impossible to find anywhere else. They are normally so small and gross at most places, but not here. But most importantly, again... It was so clean. The owners were also super nice. We came to ask for some ice and he handed us crystal glasses to mix a drink. Fresh cookies in the morning was also a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

Was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to the room. No smells, very very clean, beds comfortable, full size fridge in room, chairs outside of room to sit on after a long day riding the motorcycle. The staff are amazing, a fresh pot of coffee was brewed when we showed up to warm up. Nice fresh cookies in the morning. Strongly suggest anybody to stay here

I was dreading the thought of looking for a room in Wawa on a Sunday night but we were too tired to keep driving. I chose this Motel after reading so many positive reviews. It is gem! Don't let the rustic appearance of the rooms fool you. The decor is not old and musty, it's beautiful and comfortable. Our room was very clean and had an updated bathroom. We would certainly stay there again.

The best place to stay in this beautiful part of Canada! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable! So cozy! The cleanest motel! Excellent service. Extremely friendly staff! Lovely spot to stay. We stopped here for one night on our way through the town and decided to stay here over the other spots in town and we are SO happy we did! The rooms were spotless and clean. You could smell the cleanness of the room. The bathroom looked brand-new and just renovated. There was wifi, tv, fridge, microwave, table and a queen bed in the room. Very comfortable room and gave a lovely "home" feeling. We received free coffee in the morning and fresh baked cookies! The staff were very genuine, kind and friendly. Definitely will stay here again if we pass by again! Definitely recommend!

FABULOUS! A hidden gem. We had to stay in Wawa unexpectedly due to road closures and were so pleasantly surprised with this place. Our room was clean, quiet, and cozy with an adorable cabin feel. Nice big fridge, new bathroom fixtures and everything worked great. The staff were kind and helpful. Bonus points for the warm cookies in the morning!
