Best place to stay in Wawa! They have the most amazing bathrooms and the service is incredible! Staying here is always a highlight of our trip!!

Extremely friendly staff! Lovely spot to stay. We stopped here for one night on our way through the town and decided to stay here over the other spots in town and we are SO happy we did! The rooms were spotless and clean. You could smell the cleanness of the room. The bathroom looked brand-new and just renovated. There was wifi, tv, fridge, microwave, table and a queen bed in the room. Very comfortable room and gave a lovely "home" feeling. We received free coffee in the morning and fresh baked cookies! The staff were very genuine, kind and friendly. Definitely will stay here again if we pass by again! Definitely recommend!

This is a little gem in Wawa. The beds are super comfortable, you can tell the bathroom was redone recently and it looks great. The rooms are adorable. One suggestion I would make is to put a chain on the door to the rooms for little escape artists like my son (4yrs) , he was able to open the door freely so for the nighttime we put the table infront of the door to avoid him getting out. The room was impeccably clean, I swear not a spec of dust anywhere. Will definitely stay here again if we need to stay the night in Wawa. The cookies and coffee in the lobby are a cute touch for the morning. I'd also like to add that the staff are very friendly!

I’m driving across country to deliver our beloved dog to his new location. Called in short notice and was assigned one of the pet friendly rooms. Clean and immaculate. The bathroom appears all newly renovated and is spotless. Check in was a fantastic experience and I was so happy I wrote this review pre checkout

This is a great place to stay. The owners are friendly and totally on the ball. We had asked for extra bedding when we had called to book ahead and... boom... there it was in the room. They have coffee and cookies in the morning. We didn't really feel comfortable backing our trailer between some truck and the owner jumped right in and backed it up for us. Will stay again!

Barhroom was new, bright, and very clean. Fridge in room was convenient. Queen bed was clean and comfortable. The Canadians stick headboard was very charming. We would stay again.

I was dreading the thought of looking for a room in Wawa on a Sunday night but we were too tired to keep driving. I chose this Motel after reading so many positive reviews. It is gem! Don't let the rustic appearance of the rooms fool you. The decor is not old and musty, it's beautiful and comfortable. Our room was very clean and had an updated bathroom. We would certainly stay there again.

y The room was clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. The bathroom had apparently been recently re-done, as it was very clean and BRIGHT. I went to the office to get ice. Ray, the owner, asked if I was making a cocktail to un-wind, which I was. Ray handed me two glass, cocktail glasses, as he did not want us drinking out of plastic glasses. A touch of class, on Rays part. The owners were absolutely great in making sure their guests were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again..... Go Packers.......

We stayed overnight on a road trip. Great place to stay! Super clean and friendly. You can tell the owners take immaculate care of the property. Highly recommended!

Tbh don’t have enough words or new for this place ! On our way home we stopped for a night and it was the best decision ! Never came across such cute / beautiful / clean motel before and the couple is super nice !!!!! Echo each comment of how wonderful this motel is ! Kudos to the team !!!! Ps- loved the room decor …. Cottage feels and super cozy

Stayed here while visiting friends in Hawk Junction. Great accomodations .. clean.. an d a good price. The owner of the place was great to talk to and he had good coffee and cookies out in the morning. He also has two outdoor plugs by the sign so you can plug in your electric car . Its also very close to the Tesla Superchargers .. walking distance if you want . We would stay there again. BBQ's outside if you want to use them . Theres also some lawn chairs outside each room too.

Had a wonderful stay. The owners are very friendly and gave me some great advice on local things to do and see. The room was beautifully renovated and very clean. We really appreciated the full size fridge and freezer plus microwave. The parking lot was well lit and in good shape. Also the morning cookies and coffee are delicious.

Love this place ❤️. Its warm and cozy. The new owners welcome you like family. The outdoorsy and country theme is inviting. Brand new everything from the rugs to the unique lamps. Took a day long motorbike ride with friends and and were happy to rest at this little gem. They even provided free shammys to wipe our bikes down. The new owners are delightful and helpful if you need anything. The rooms have a full size fridge and freezer to store anything you may pick up across the street at the local grocery store. There is also a beer store and restaurants less than a block away. Outside there are new barbecues and also lawn chairs for you to enjoy the fresh air. Last but not least , fresh delicious coffee and just baked cookies offered in the morning. We will most definitely be staying again.

Stayed at the outdoorsman, last minute, after a long drive across northern Ontario. The place has been totally renovated with super cute, cabin decor, and was immaculately clean. I travel a lot for work and the bathroom, was probably one of the best I've seen. It had a huge, new bathtub, which is near impossible to find anywhere else. They are normally so small and gross at most places, but not here. But most importantly, again... It was so clean. The owners were also super nice. We came to ask for some ice and he handed us crystal glasses to mix a drink. Fresh cookies in the morning was also a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

Great place ! I came in late and very accommodating. No issues with dogs and no outrageous pet fees. Great rooms and very clean. Loved it full fridge with freezer. Great gem! Highly recommend . Very kind people

What a little gem of a place to stay! The room was impeccably clean, and loved the cabin feel. Staff is super friendly. We had to leave early so missed out on coffee and cookies. Would definitely stay here again!

We were traveling cross-country to relocate and needed a stop in Wawa along our route. Becuase we were traveling with pets, our choices were limited and some of the places -- even national chains -- were run down and it was evident that NOBODY who worked at them cared about their guests or their business. Our expectation were quite low when we arrived at the Outdoorsman Motel in Wawa, but were surprised and delighted. It is charming and the owners have clearly gone out of their way to create a clean, inviting experience for their guests. Lots of little touches that show they care deeply about the role a good motel plays for a weary traveller. We loved that they had all of the take-out menus from local restaurants in the room and offered us some extra towels and cloths becuase they knew we were traveling with pets. Highly recommended.

I have been to dozens of motels across Canada, but this motel is by far the best!! Not 5 stars but 10 stars!! Ray and Lynn, together with their staff, are great people. Ray and Lynn make you feel almost like your family from the first moment. The rooms are beautiful, everywhere is clean, everything is working, WiFi is amazing, they even invite you for a coffee and cookies in the morning! This motel is better than many 4 star hotels!! I have been here twice and will come again. Thanks Ray and Lynn you are the best!!!!

Thus is a great place to lay your head. Very clean. The owners are inviting and accommodating. I would go back. A tip though...it fills up fast for best to book ahead.

The best place to stay in this beautiful part of Canada! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable! So cozy! The cleanest motel! Excellent service. This quiet, clean, pet friendly motel in Wawa is one of the best spots we've stayed while traveling the TransCanada. There's a park with a playground directly across the street as well as a grocery store + several restaurants in walking distance. Owners are very kind and accommodating, they obviously love what they do. A note for my fellow vegan/lactose intolerant travellers: they had both Silk Oat and almond milk out for coffee service in the morning. What a thoughtful touch! We will be back again and again. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at the Outdoorsman Motel. The room was clean .The bed was comfortable. The staff were very professional and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

We are driving from Ottawa to Vancouver with lots of overnight stays in chain hotels. This stay was by far the best. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Highly recommend. Only minor criticism was that as we had to leave very early, coffee was not available. Pot in the room would have been icing on the cake.

My husband and I stayed here twice, on our honeymoon road trip. On the way up, we decided to book here and we loved it! We loved the cabin vibe of our room. It was very clean and comfortable. The gentleman checking us in was very nice. They even offer some baked goods and coffee in the morning. We loved it so much, we decided to stay there again on the way back. It is a very small town so there's limited things to do but Lake Wawa is beautiful! Highly recommended!
